On July 9th,
Joe’s Team celebrates its 10
th and final Triathlon.
Since 2007, the spirit and vision of Joe Finley has inspired hundreds of Joe’s Team participants to conquer the personal challenge of a triathlon, while collecting vital funds to conquer cancer. Proving that amazing things happen when you Tri, Joe’s Team has raised more than $11 million net and has grown to become the most successful grassroots fundraiser in the history of the
Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
The remarkable commitment of fundraisers, volunteers, sponsors and organizers culminated last year in the establishment of the
Joe Finley Centre for Head and Neck Cancer (HNC) Research at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This state of the art facility is driving discoveries that prevent, screen, diagnose and fight many forms of cancer, including head and neck cancer.
